Great Timepiece, Great ValueReview by OB1
- As a watch enthusiast, I'm very selective on my timepieces and do quite a bit of research (blogs, articles, etc.) prior to purchasing (just ask my wife who I drive nuts). Having said that, I did do a great deal of research before purchasing the C60 Trident Pro from Christopher Ward. What a great piece and great value. I am very impressed with CW, in general; service (two questions answered via email within one day), website (basic watch knowledge put out there and great presentations of their watches), catalogue (interesting articles on watch history, which I read cover to cover), 60/60 guarantee, cost of servicing, etc., etc. etc. CW just gets it...But none of this would mean anything if the watch didn't live up to expectations and I have to say it has. The fit and finish are top notch. The braclet is beautiful and high quality. The piece has a feel of something far more expensive (which with several ones who will need to go to college, is great). My wife had the watch engraved and it is good quality, as well as gift wrapped, also very good. Can't speak too much on the movement so far, still very early on, but with my experience so far I'm sure it's going to be fine (only thing I would like to see is for CW to put in the literature with the watch which movement-ETA or Sellita-I have in my watch. After doing a great deal of reading I don't think it matters-both are good quality, but as an enthusiast it's imporant for me to know). I love the English heritage, combined with the Swiss precision. So I'm very happy with Christopher Ward and I love my C60 Trident Pro. It is a great watch and a great value.
Lovely watch!Review by Gherky
- Initially I was looking for a Tag Heuer but didn't want to part with that amount of cash. Whilst I was browsing the web I found Christopher Ward and held out until I saw 15% of the Trident range.
Ordered the C60 Trident and although £400+ is the most expensive watch I have bought I have to say that it is worth every penny.
The watch feels nice and weighty, looks beautiful and can easily be dressed up or down. So far my watch has only gained around 25 seconds in just over a week which for an automatic I think is great.
The only downside I can think of (and I am being picky here) is the lume of the hands and dial which seems pretty non existent.
In a nutshell, buy this watch and you will not be disappointed.
ImpressiveReview by MP
- After researching men's watches online I happened to come across the brand Christopher Ward. It was by chance, but I was intrigued. I like to study important purchases b/c I'm a big believer in quality and you get what you pay for. Also, I was having a hard time forking over $3,000+ for a watch with the high end look. After reading about Christopher Ward, looking at other reviews and comparing other brands I made my decision. The C60 Trident was the watch I wanted. I held off on buying though, but my wife surprised me with the watch for Christmas. Wow, seeing the watch in person is impressive. This watch is High End. From the moment you open the packaging you realize this watch is classy. It's all high quality from the weight, look and feel. You also receive a personally signed letter and certificate of authenticity with your order. I am so pleased with this watch. The quality for the price is unmatched. If you want a high end watch without shelling out thousands of dollars you can't go wrong here. I've already received multiple compliments. It's a stunning watch and a wonderful gift.
