Cheshire 21/12/2011 Review by Steve Crowney
Quality Price Value Received a bonus from my MD, treated myself to this fine watch. I had read about Chris and the company in the current Watch World Mag, reviewed some of the comments in the forum, picked a C5 Malvern automatic which I ordered 3pm yesterday, arrived 11am today. Now sporting a very outstanding timepiece on my wrist which is a stunning addition to my collection.
I had like others seen the watches advertised in books on plane journey's but was suspicious of the price? Not anymore fantastic value for money, quality watch. I have already recommended to friends they check CW site out.
Pity no automatic ladies watches in the collection? yet? (Posted on 12/21/11) -
The Netherlands, 30-06-2011 Review by peter
Quality Price Value After 6 years of ownership, I am still every bit as proud and happy as I was when I first received it.
This was my first CW watch, so I was not quite sure what to expect when I ordered it, especially since, at the time, it was offered for a ridiculously low price - you'd pay that sort of price for a 2824-2 movement alone.
When I look at it now, I realise that even the current asking price is cause for suspicion. Rest assured, there is a real (and very nicely finished) 2824-2 movement in there. It is every bit as consistent and reliable as you would expect from a watch costing twice that amount - both my C5's (I got another one indeed, and none of them will ever be for sale), meticulously adjusted, now run very well within COSC chronometer accuracy requirements. .
I stick to saying that, of all watches created by Chris, the C5 is probably the cleanest and most beautiful design.
Which brings me to a strange analogy:
If the C4 is a Lamborghini Murcielago, and the C3 is an Aston-Martin Vanquish... the C5 is a C6 (no, not a CW C6, but a Citroën C6) - superior design consistency, superiorly understated. It looks like it was designed by a gifted individual in an hour of inspiration, rather than by a committee in 6 months of heavy PowerPoint meetings.
And the watch wears well. Even after 6 years, it looks amazingly good. I may have to replace the leather strap at some point, but not anytime soon.
And because of the clean lines, it will never look aged, design-wise.
I'll take this one with me when they put me six feet under. (Posted on 6/30/11) -

U.K. 19/09/2010 Review by Adrian
Price Value Quality Well, nearly 5 years on and I'm happy to say my C5 is still running perfectly.
Recently took it to our local jewller to get a cost on having it cleaned, serviced and regulated.
Actually ended up talking to their repair guy, he came out to see me when he saw the watch.
he was very impressed and said "...this is a very nice piece...". All it's needed in nearly 5 years is a new strap from CW. Perfect! (Posted on 9/19/10) -

Price Value Quality Received my watch nearly two weeks ago and found it to be very comfortable and accurate.
I collect watches and found my Chris Ward watches to stand out above the rest. I have now ordered 2 more watches from Chris's watch collection; one for brother in law for his 40th and one for me because i was jealous and felt i derserved one also. Thanks for the great service.

Dunfermline, Scotland 15/01/2010 Review by Paul Petela
Quality Price Value Bought one of these back in October 2009. I already had a C5 Aviator but wanted more of a dress watch for going out. It looks classy and does not cost the earth - buy one (or two ....), you will no be disappointed. I love the fact you can see the movement. Highly recommended. (Posted on 1/15/10)

Houston, Texas - December 2010 Review by Paul
Quality Price Value I am so glad that I learned of Christopher Ward watches. The C5 Malvern is a precision timepiece, with an automatic movement, that looks great with a suit and business attire. Its classy, yet understated. I plan to definitely become an owner of a second CW watch (Posted on 1/10/10)
